Delivery Policy:​

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 24 hours and services confirmed by way of    e-mail (for example booking number/booking voucher etc and must mention the use of courier and/or postal services and associated costs, if applicable)

Bank Transfer Payments:

​You can also pay us by direct bank transfer into our South African Bank account (also known as wire transfer, EFT or SWIFT transfer). If you pay into our South African account, you will be contracting with Open Road Tours CC, a closed corporation registered in South Africa and a member of SATSA. For your financial protection and peace of mind, we are fully covered by Financial Failure Insurance by SATSA’s bonding scheme in South Africa.​

Open Road Tours CC is committed to maintaining the integrity and security of your personal information.  We will never sell, trade or otherwise give away any information about our customers, except if required to do so by law.​

Personal details and email addresses received through completing our online booking form are filed away securely and only used by Open Road Tours in the process of arranging tours, making reservations, and communicating directly with our clients.​

Credit / Debit Card Acquiring and Security​:

Credit card transactions will be acquired for Open Road Tours via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Users may go to to view their security certificate and security policy.​

Please do not send your credit card details to us by email as email is not secure. We actively fight charge backs and credit card fraud, and will co-operate fully with banks or investigating authorities in the event of suspected fraudulent activity.​

Return & Refund policy:​

The provisions of goods and services by Open Road Tours is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Open Road Tours will refund the client in full within 30 days.  ​

Cancellation Policy: 

All Cancellations must be received and acknowledged in writing and the following cancellation fees apply regardless of the reason of cancellation: 

• 61 or more days pre-departure: 15% of full price
• 60 days pre-departure: 40% of full price
• 15 – 30 days pre-departure: 75% of full price
• 14 days or less pre-departure: 100% of full price

Important note: Third parties that we have already paid (flights, lodges, hotels or other suppliers) may have higher cancellation penalties, in which case the third party’s cancellation policy will apply.

Country of domicile:​

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Open Road Tours chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.​

Variation:​

Open Road Tours may, in its sole discretion change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
