I’ve been traveling quite a bit the past few years – in fact every month the last 11 months, and I have to say this was probably my best trip so far, no doubt a big part thanks to Hannah and her team! From the very beginning, Hannah was very patient and accommodating to my requests and suggestions for my itinerary, crafting and revising it for me until I absolutely loved it, and she always responded so quickly! I only booked my private tour with Hannah 2 weeks before my trip, so I actually didn’t give her much time but everything happened so quickly, and I felt like I could completely trust that Hannah was gonna make my trip awesome, and was not the least bit disappointed. It was one of my best holidays if not the best. 🙂 I visited Cape Town, George, Oudtshoorn, Knysna and Mossel Bay, fell madly in love with the beautiful sceneries and all the wildlife I had the chance to get up close with – lions, elephants, cheetahs, lemurs, I even got to ride an ostrich! We wanted to climb the highest peak/summit in South Africa and asked Hannah to research that for us as we had no idea. We were so pleased at finding us the perfect mountain to climb (Drakensburg Mountain Range – Mt Mafadi). It was stunning. She customized our itinerary based on what we wanted to do. Hannah did an exceptional job at meeting our needs. She coordinated every aspect of our trip. Our itinerary was extensive and she answered all of our questions and always responded swiftly. We had many changes and she was so flexible to accommodate us. She was so patient and professional. Every city and lodging/hotel that we stayed at was awesome. We travel quite often. For example, we have taken our kids to 18 aquariums in 13 countries. We always have to have something fun for the kids. Now it’s just a tradition. Generally, I plan out the entire trip, including booking hotels, transportation, excursions, etc. However, trying to figure out touring South Africa for 3 weeks with 7 of us (our family of 4, 2 grandparents and an uncle) was becoming quite complicated to figure out. So for the first time, I used a travel service to plan it out. We talked to Hanna, our travel adviser, on the phone for about 30 minutes so she could determine our interests. It’s animals! She quickly put together a full itinerary that included game parks in Johannesburg, elephant rides and shark diving on the Garden Route. In the Cape Town area, she arranged hiking Table Mountain, a boat tour to seal island, visiting Boulder Beach to swim with penguins. And of course she arranged our safari in Kruger. That couldn’t have gone better. In the park, we saw over 1000 impalas, over 100 elephants, lions, leopards, etc. It was a true animal extravaganza. Sitting on the deck of our lodge, we could watch the elephants and hippos on the edge of Crocodile River. Three of those days, the elephants swam to our side to forage right in front of us. The hotels were all amazing. We had transportation, a driver and van, every day. Hannah was in constant contact with the hotels and drivers to make sure we were doing fine and checking to see if we needed anything. We were spoiled. The entire family agrees it was the best vacation we have taken.
